Company energy audit - required by law or voluntary for savings
A company energy audit identifies areas of energy waste and indicates cost-effective modernization measures - from thermal insulation, through LED lighting replacement, to the installation of RES and ESS. Our certified energy auditors conduct a full audit in accordance with the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Act (mandatory for large companies every 4 years), and we document the results with a detailed report ranking investments by ROI.
Our Energy Audits solutions are dedicated to companies and institutions that want to lower operating costs, boost energy efficiency, and reduce exposure to energy price swings. The TECHNIUS comprehensive approach — from audit to design to delivery and service — guarantees maximum return on investment.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Who must conduct a mandatory energy audit?
A mandatory energy audit every 4 years applies to large enterprises (employing over 250 people or with a turnover exceeding EUR 50 million). Companies certified with ISO 50001 are exempt from the audit obligation. Failure to conduct an audit may result in a fine of up to 5% of revenue.
What is the difference between an energy audit and an energy performance certificate?
An energy performance certificate (energy certificate) applies to a building and is required for sale or lease. An energy audit is a broader examination of energy consumption within the entire enterprise (buildings, processes, installations) with recommendations for investments and savings modeling.
What does an energy audit report contain?
The audit report includes: an inventory of energy sources, analysis of consumption and costs, thermal imaging inspection, identification of loss areas, a ranking of modernization actions with estimated investment costs, savings, and simple payback period (SPBT), and audit sheets for each action.
How much does an enterprise energy audit cost?
The cost of an energy audit depends on the size of the facility, the number of buildings, and the complexity of the processes. An audit for a small plant costs approximately PLN 3,000–8,000, and for a large enterprise—PLN 15,000–50,000. In many cases, the cost of the audit is eligible for co-financing from energy efficiency programs.
