EMS Energy Management System — full control over your company's energy costs

An Energy Management System (EMS) is software that monitors, analyzes, and automatically optimizes electricity consumption in an enterprise 24/7. It integrates with energy meters, photovoltaic inverters, ESS systems, PLC and SCADA controllers via standard protocols (Modbus, BACnet, MQTT). It identifies waste areas, automates load management, and generates detailed ESG reports. Initial savings are visible within the first month of operation.

Our Energy Management Systems EMS solutions are dedicated to companies and institutions that want to lower operating costs, boost energy efficiency, and reduce exposure to energy price swings. The TECHNIUS comprehensive approach — from audit to design to delivery and service — guarantees maximum return on investment.

  • Real-time Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of power consumption, energy usage, and operation of all devices in the facility.

  • Cost Optimization: Automatic algorithms minimizing energy purchase costs and distribution charges.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between EMS and SCADA?

SCADA is a system for supervising and controlling technological processes (visualization, PLC control). EMS is a higher layer – it analyzes data from SCADA and meters, optimizes energy costs, manages ESS and PV charging, and reports energy and ESG indicators. EMS can cooperate with existing SCADA infrastructure.

How does the EMS integrate with existing infrastructure?

Our EMS integrates with energy meters (AMI, SM), photovoltaic inverters, ESS systems, PLC controllers, building automation (BMS), and ERP systems through standard protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet, IEC 61850, MQTT, REST API. Implementation does not require replacing existing hardware.

What savings does EMS implementation provide?

Companies implementing EMS achieve energy cost reductions of 10–25% by eliminating waste, optimizing peak power, and managing tariffs. For a facility paying 1 million PLN/year for energy, this means 100–250 thousand PLN in annual savings. The system typically pays for itself within 1–2 years.

Does the EMS meet ESG reporting requirements and the EED directive?

Yes – our EMS generates energy consumption reports required by the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and ESG reporting standards (GRI, CSRD). It enables tracking carbon footprint, managing energy certificates, and preparing data for energy audits.
