Personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR /Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, as amended/. The basis for the processing of personal data is primarily Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Processing is lawful only if and to the extent that at least one of the following conditions is met:
a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;
b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
d) processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person;
e) processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
f) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.
- Conditions for providing data.
The Customer’s personal data is processed only with their consent, expressed at the time of submitting the enquiry. Consent to the processing of personal data is entirely voluntary, but in some cases it may be necessary to conclude a contract or perform other activities related to the provision of services by Technius.
- Rights of the person providing personal data.
The Customer has the right to request access to their personal data. At any time, the Customer may request the personal data controller to update or rectify their personal data.
At any time, the Customer has the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data without giving any reason. The request may relate to the purpose of processing indicated by the Customer.
At any time, the Customer may object to the processing of their data, both in whole and for the purpose indicated by them. The objection will not affect actions already taken.
The Customer has the right to request the restriction of the processing of their personal data in terms of time and scope. This request will not affect actions already taken.
The Customer has the right to request that their personal data be transferred to another controller. To this end, the Customer may contact the data controller at their e-mail address, providing the name and address of the entity to which the data controller is to transfer the Customer’s personal data and the scope of such data.
The Customer has the right to request information from the data controller about the scope of personal data processing. The data controller is obliged to inform the Customer about the actions taken no later than within one month of receiving each request.
- Processing period
As the controller of the Customer’s personal data, we will store this personal data for as long as the Customer consents to it.
- Data security.
When processing the Customer’s personal data, we use the most modern IT and organisational measures in accordance with the relevant legal provisions, including SSL certificate encryption and the requirement to create strong passwords.
- Entrusting personal data.
The Customer’s personal data may be entrusted to entities cooperating with Technius to the extent necessary to provide services, for example, to prepare the goods ordered by the Customer, carry out the payment process and deliver shipments. We never transfer, sell or exchange personal data for commercial or marketing purposes. Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union.
