Application submission deadlines

The first stage of applications for the My Wind Power Plant program is set to launch soon, with its start planned for the third or fourth quarter of 2024. This project will be a pilot, allowing the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management to assess the level of interest in subsidies for domestic wind installations.

Program budget

The program has a budget of PLN 400 million, which is significant financial support for individuals planning investments in wind energy. PLN 50 million has been allocated for the first call for applications, which will help assess the demand for such solutions and allow for better tailoring of subsequent program editions to participant expectations.

Funding conditions

Within the program, you can receive funding of up to PLN 30,000 for the installation of a domestic wind power plant, provided that it does not exceed 50% of eligible costs or PLN 5,000 per kW. The installation power cannot exceed 20 kW.

Funding for energy storage

Additionally, individuals deciding to install wind turbines can apply for support for the purchase of energy storage with a minimum capacity of 2 kWh. In this case, you can receive up to PLN 17,000, but no more than PLN 6,000/kW.

Application process

Funds will be disbursed after the investment is completed. Applicants must first cover the installation costs with their own funds and then submit a refund application.

ETS pushes up energy prices via the CO₂ cost embedded in wholesale prices. ETS2 (from 2027) will hit transport and heating fuels. Companies that don't actively manage energy are more exposed — these aren't isolated price hikes, they're a trend.
